The Black Poetry Experience is an extension of the celebration of Black voices, beyond Black History Month, beyond Juneteenth. This will be our last gathering of the year as TSC will be taking a hiatus for the month of December. We will be back in full force in 2027, but want to leave off our calendar year in a familiar way.
We will be joined by Non Binary Chess Club along with readers Nel Afenya, Dante and Sugar Sweet.
Continuing our residency at The Silver Room, and closing off our year, we will be hosting an open mic following our performance.
Sunday, November 22nd
1506 E. 53rd St.
Doors at 7p
Readings at 8p
$8 Tickets/$10 Tickets at the door
See you then!
